TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last updated 11 October 2026

Before we get to the good stuff

Nobody comes here for the terms and conditions. Fair enough. But before money changes hands, you should know what you’re getting, what I’ll do and what happens if plans change. Here it is, in ordinary language.

BETTER FROM NOW is run by me, Nadine Innes, a sole trader in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. These terms cover this website and purchases you make directly from me. “I” means Nadine; “you” means the person browsing or buying and, for the program, taking part. Have a read before paying. If something needs explaining, email betterfromnow8@gmail.com.

Buying the program? The program sections below are for you. Buying a printable or download? Head to that section. If you buy through another retailer, such as Amazon, their checkout and purchase terms apply, along with your applicable consumer rights.

Have a look around

Have a look around. Read what interests you. Share a link with someone who might find it useful. Please use the website lawfully and respectfully: no impersonating others, misleading submissions, harassment, harmful code, unauthorised access to private information or interference with security. The internet has enough of that already.

The words, pictures, branding and other website content belong to BETTER FROM NOW or their respective rights holders. Sharing a link is welcome. Copying, republishing or using the content commercially needs permission unless the law allows it. What you can do with your purchased materials is explained below.

I do my best to keep descriptions and prices accurate. If an error affects your order, I’ll contact you and talk through the options, including a refund where appropriate. Future price or description changes won’t quietly change what you’ve already bought.

The people handling the practical bits

Wix hosts the website. Stripe handles the linked payment checkout. Google services hold the program materials and forms, and Calendly helps us find a time to talk. Each provider has its own terms and privacy policy. They help with the practical bits; I’m still responsible for supplying what you bought, and your consumer rights still apply.

Some links take you to websites I don’t run. Check their descriptions and policies before using or buying from them. If technology gets awkward and you can’t access something you bought from me, email me. Let’s sort it out.

What you share with me

What you write in your workbook, forms or personal messages isn’t an audition for a public testimonial. Your information is handled as explained in the Privacy Policy. Sending it to me does not give me permission to publish it. I’ll ask separately before sharing your words or story.

Keeping this a respectful place

I want this to be a safe, respectful place. If someone uses website or program access unlawfully or in a way that threatens another person, security or copyright, I may restrict that access. Where practical, I’ll explain the concern and give them a chance to respond or put it right. Sometimes urgent protective action needs to come first. Any action will be proportionate, with applicable consumer rights and remedies preserved.

Eight weeks and someone in your corner

The eight-week program is for adults aged eighteen and over. AUD $247 covers one person, paid once through the linked checkout. No recurring subscription. No surprise lodger in your bank account. You’ll see the total before you pay.

You’ll have the digital workbook and handbook, eight weekly emails and short audios, a personal written response to each weekly check-in you submit, and two twenty-minute phone conversations. After Week Eight, we gather what’s coming with you through Less. More. Different., My Life From Here, The Next 90 Days and Support the Plan. The One Month Later email prompts are included too. These are digital materials; printed copies aren’t included.

We take it a week at a time. I’ll email your confirmed start date and instructions. Your program begins on that date when your Week One email and materials become available. Paying or completing the welcome form alone doesn’t start Week One. If the timing needs a rethink, contact me before your start date.

Working through it together

Keep your handbook beside your workbook as you move through the week. Then use that week’s Check-In With Me link to share what stood out and what you’d like help with. I read those answers and reply personally within two business days, Monday to Friday. Your private workbook answers stay with you unless you choose to share them.

You can still check in if you’re stuck or the week hasn’t gone to plan. A neatly completed workbook is not the admission ticket to a conversation.

Book our first call when something needs talking through during the program. Book the second ahead of time for five business days after Week Eight ends. Complete the handbook planning pages and What’s Coming With Me? at least two business days before that call, so I can read your answers beforehand.

Choose a time through the booking link in your handbook or program emails. I’ll call the number you leave when booking. If none of the available times fit, email me. Finding a time shouldn’t become a personal development exercise of its own.

Our second conversation brings our personal support time to a close. A month later, the One Month Later prompts arrive by email. By then, real life will have submitted its feedback. That email is a separate follow-up; it doesn’t extend ongoing personal support.

If a call needs moving

If you need to cancel or change your time, please use the links in your confirmation email. Where possible, give me at least twenty-four hours’ notice so I can offer the time to someone else. Life happens, if something unexpected comes up, let me know as soon as you can.

Missed our call? Get in touch so we can discuss rebooking. There’s no separate cancellation charge for these included calls. If I need to move one, I’ll contact you to arrange another time. Moving or cancelling a call doesn’t automatically cancel your program purchase.

Keeping your materials

Your program folder stays open for thirty days after Week Eight ends. Download what you’d like to keep before access expires. Your downloaded materials can come with you, no need to remember everything by heart. Folder access is separate from personal support.

The practical kit is simple: an internet connection, email, a device that opens PDFs and online forms, and a phone number for our calls. Materials and forms use Google services, with access instructions in your emails. If something refuses to open, email me. You don’t need to spend your afternoon arguing with a link.

Download your materials. Print them. Scribble all over them if that helps. They’re licensed for your personal use. Please don’t resell, publish or distribute them, share program access, or use them to run your own commercial program without written permission. Copyright stays with the relevant rights holder.

Something useful to download

Before buying a printable or download, read its description. That and the checkout tell you what’s included, the price and how you’ll get your files. These are digital products. Printed copies and personal program support come with them only if the description specifically says so.

Once your download link is available, change-of-mind refunds aren’t offered. Please read the description before buying. If your link is missing, your file won’t open or something isn’t right with your purchase, email betterfromnow8@gmail.com so I can help.

Your download is yours to use and print personally. It isn’t yours to resell, publish, distribute or use commercially without written permission. Any download deadline will be shown before purchase. Your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.

If your plans change

For the program, if you cancel before it starts, your payment will be refunded less an administration fee equal to the payment processing cost incurred for your purchase. This deduction applies only to change-of-mind cancellations and does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. I’ll confirm the deduction and refund amount. There is no additional setup fee.

Once the program has started, change-of-mind refunds aren’t normally offered. If life throws something unexpected into the mix, contact me. I’ll consider the circumstances and available options, including a timing adjustment or discretionary refund.

If I cancel before the program starts, you’ll get a full refund with no administration fee. If I can’t supply a material part after it starts, I’ll explain what happened and offer an appropriate remedy. You won’t be handed a credit or a new date in place of a refund you’re legally entitled to.

Need to cancel or ask for a refund? Email betterfromnow8@gmail.com with your name, purchase details and a brief explanation. A small novel is not required. Approved refunds go back through your original payment method where possible, unless we agree otherwise. I’ll tell you when yours has been processed; your payment provider and bank determine when it appears.

You can also find these refund boundaries on the website’s Refund Policy page.

Your rights come with you

Your consumer rights come with your purchase. They don’t disappear because there’s a terms page. Australian Consumer Law provides guarantees that cannot be excluded. Products and services must meet the guarantees that apply, including services being supplied with due care and skill and meeting applicable requirements about purpose and timing. Your rights to refunds, cancellation, compensation and other remedies remain where applicable.

For a major service failure, you may cancel and seek a refund for affected services or seek a reduction in price. The appropriate remedy depends on what was supplied and the failure. For a minor failure, I’ll provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. Administration fees do not apply to refunds required under Australian Consumer Law.

What this can and cannot do

BETTER FROM NOW provides personal development education and practical support. It is not counselling, therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment or a crisis service, and it does not replace advice or treatment from an appropriately qualified professional. Do not change prescribed treatment or medication based on these materials.

There’s no promised personality overhaul or guaranteed personal outcome. There is a commitment to provide the materials and support described. Your consumer rights remain intact. If you need immediate help or are in danger, contact an appropriate emergency or crisis service rather than waiting for a check-in response.

Let’s sort it out

If something isn’t right with delivery, access, support or a refund, email betterfromnow8@gmail.com. I’ll acknowledge it, look into it and respond within a reasonable time, keeping you informed if I need longer. You can also seek help from Queensland’s Office of Fair Trading or another relevant consumer authority.

The Privacy Policy explains how I handle your personal information. Buying something doesn’t automatically give me permission to use your story as a testimonial or send promotional messages. Those are separate matters.

The terms you see when you buy are the terms for that purchase. Later website updates won’t rewrite the deal. If a material part of your program needs changing, I’ll discuss it with you and preserve your applicable rights and remedies.

The legal housekeeping

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and Australia, without excluding protections that apply to you by law. If a provision cannot legally be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
